BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

FAQs for medical treatment in China

Be sure to confirm important matters before traveling.

Do I need to choose a hospital first?

You can first explain the specialty needs, and then learn about the hospital and doctor information. The final consultation and appointment time must be confirmed by the hospital.

What medical records need to be prepared?

Usually, existing diagnoses, examination reports and past treatment information are sorted out first; the specific list and translation requirements are confirmed by the hospital to be treated.

Can commercial insurance be paid directly?

Not necessarily. Direct payment depends on the policy terms, hospital network, project scope and insurance company review, and cannot be judged solely by the name of the insurance company.

How to distinguish between hospital fees and Zoying service fees?

If you choose a private hospital, the Zoying coordination service fee will be borne by the hospital, and the patient does not need to pay additional fees; if you choose a public or non-profit hospital, the patient will pay the service fee to Zoying. The cost of medical treatment and personal travel will be calculated separately, and the specific cost will be confirmed in advance.

Are treatment options available?

Medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment plans are the responsibility of the receiving hospital and licensed physicians. The website does not provide online diagnosis.

Can accompanying family members be arranged together?

The number of companions, language, accommodation and transportation needs can be raised during consultation, and the specific scope of support can be communicated in advance.
